Bajrangi Bhaijaan – united by munni

1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a 2015 Hindi movie directed by Kabir Khan that talks about the love between India and Pakistan.
2. Shahida is a 6-year-old mute girl from Pakistan who gets lost in India. Pawan (Salman Khan) meets Shahida and takes her home. After many days, Pawan finally gets to know that she is from Pakistan. He talks with a travel agent to help him but is duped by the agent. Pawan decides to go to Pakistan on his own without any visa and passport to get Shahida to her parents. He crosses the border through tunnels and is confronted by Pak soldiers who seeing his innocence permits him to travel forward. Later on, he is caught by the police but is able to escape. He meets Chand (Nawazuddin Siddique), a local reporter who helps Pawan further. While Pawan is caught by the police again, Chand gets Shahida to her parents. The police believe that Pawan is a spy and refuse to release him. Chand posts a video where he tells the real story of Pawan, which forces the police to release Pawan to India.
3. Many Indians, as well as Pakistanis, have been taken prisoners since 1947. Most of the prisoners after their long years of struggle have died either through various diseases or through trials, like Sarabjit Singh.
4. The movie has shown the good side of India-Pakistan relationship, which on the other hand is deteriorating daily, because of Kashmir possession issue and Pakistan’s pushing of terrorists into India for the same.
5. The movie did show some unrealistic scenes, like the Pak soldiers allowing an intruder and that also an Indian into its territory. Viewers can say that the mute girl factor may have lead to that, but that’s not feasible seeing the present conditions.
6. The acting by the cast was good, and like always the lead actor struggled a bit to show his skills but the nice story supported him from falling low as always. The child actor played a significant and nice role whereas the lady actor Kareena Kapoor was not even necessary.
7. The passport and visa frauds that are common in many parts of the world has been highlighted here also. The Mexicans have their valid reasons for entering the USA illegally but do the Pak terrorists have that validity when they enter India.
8. This movie won many many awards namely the National award for its popular content. The story was clearly the winner here which lead to many positive reviews by the critics.
9. A box office super-duper hit that went to become the third highest-grossing movie in Indian cinema. 
10. A many-time watch and I give 7.5/10.
